Description

Use Bridgeport’s 590-DC2 E-Z® Lock 3/8" Insulated AC/MC Connector to quickly join flexible metal conduit or AC/MC/HCF/HCFMCI-A cable to an electrical box or enclosure. Die cast zinc cable connectors feature a precise fit and finish with excellent corrosion resistance for use in harsh environments. An insulated throat protects inner wiring up to a temperate of 105°C. Use 590-DCI2 to join flex trade size 3/8" FMC and 14/2 to 10/3 (.43" to .61") AC/MC cable to a 1/2" knockout. To install, simply push cable into the rear of the fitting and then insert into the knockout. Tighten the locknut by hand and then make an additional 1/4 turn. The internal spring steel locking ring tabs securely clamp the cable in place and ensure bonding. These ring tabs are shaped to accept cable without damage to wire insulation.
