When working in wet environments, use Bridgeport's 450-SLTI 1/2" Liquid Tight Insulated 45-Degree Connectors to join metallic liquid tight conduit to an electrical box or enclosure at a 45-degree angle. Malleable iron connectors are Bridgeport's heaviest-duty solution and feature excellent impact and abrasion resistance in harsh environments. SLTI connectors come with an insulated throat for protecting inner wiring from abrasion and up to a temperature of 105℃. To install, simply slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the metallic conduit before threading the ferrule directly into the conduit channel. At that point, insert the conduit into the connector, retighten the compression nut to secure the conduit in place and then join the fitting to a box knockout using the provided locknut. These connectors come with NPT threads, a polypropylene or polyethylene knockout gasket and an internal sealing ring to provide a liquid tight connection between metallic conduit and a box or enclosure. Liquid tight 45-degree connectors are available in trade sizes 3/8" to 4". All are UL-Listed under File No. E9391, CSA Listed under File No. LR39354, and NEMA TYPE 2, 3, 3R, 4 and 12. They also meet the NEC requirements for use in wet locations and are suitable for use in Class I, Division 2; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 & 2 per NEC 501.30 (B).
