When working in wet environments, use Bridgeport's 469-LTI2 3/8" Liquid Tight Insulated 90-Degree Connectors to join either metallic or nonmetallic "Type B" liquid tight conduit to an electrical box or enclosure at a 90-degree angle. Zinc connectors feature a precise fit and finish with excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. LTI2 connectors are fitted with an insulated throat which protects inner wiring from abrasion and up to a temperature of 105℃. To install, simply slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the conduit before threading the ferrule directly into the conduit channel. At that point, insert the conduit into the connector, tighten the compression nut to secure the conduit in place and then attach the fitting to a box knockout using the provided locknut. Once installed, NPT threads, a polyethylene gasket and internal sealing ring provide a liquid tight connection between the conduit and box or enclosure. Zinc liquid tight insulated 90-degree connectors are available in trade sizes 3/8" to 4". Sizes 3/8" to 1-1/4" are crafted from die cast zinc, whereas sizes 1-1/2" to 4" are made from cast zinc. All are UL-Listed under File No. E9391, CSA Listed under File No. LR39354 and NEMA TYPE 2, 3, 3R, 4 and 12. They also meet the NEC requirements for use in wet locations and are suitable for use in Class I, Division 2; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 & 2 per NEC 501.30 (B).
