When working in wet environments, use Bridgeport's 430-LT2 1/2" Liquid Tight Straight Connectors to join metallic and nonmetallic "Type B" liquid tight conduit to an electrical box or enclosure. Die cast zinc connectors feature a precise fit and finish with excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. To install, simply slide the compression nut and inner sealing ring over the metallic or nonmetallic conduit before threading the ferrule directly into the conduit channel. At that point, insert the conduit into the connector, retighten the compression nut and then secure the fitting to a box knockout using the provided locknut. Once installed, NPT threads, a polyethylene gasket and internal sealing ring provide a liquid tight connection between the conduit and knockout. Bridgeport liquid tight straight connectors are available in trade sizes 3/8" to 4". All are UL-Listed under File No. E9391, NEMA TYPE 2, 3, 3R, 4 and 12, and meet the NEC requirements for use in wet locations.
